Priest in and later Lord Cardinal of the Universal Church, who once engaged Kienan Ademetria to destroy the Marionettes, as his faith did not tolerate perfect facsimiles of human beings. While Kienan nominally succeeded in his mission, he did not in fact destroy the Marionettes, but was able to hide this fact from Sloane.
Many years later, Sloane, now a ranking member of the church, hired Kienan again to kill Michael Corinthos, a Church operative known as Judgment. In addition, he engaged the rest of the Church's group of assassins to eliminate Kienan, to disguise his involvement with the assassin.
Kienan would ultimately kill him as repayment for the attempted double-cross.
